One of the primary highlights of Fusion is that it uses a service-oriented architecture (SOA)
SOA uses orchestration technology to assemble various services to provide comprehensive functionality
Which takes on a newer, much smoother approach in contrast to the forms and database-centric approach of the Oracle application architecture in EBS

As any conventional migration process has following phases: Planning, Preparation, Pre-migration, Down time, and Post-migration.

We need to perform pre-migration reporting and readiness from diagnostics. We can run a readiness report for both summary and detail.

There are a few things to consider before migration —

Give a summary picture by product and feature as what cannot be migrated to the client
A customer needs to review potential areas and take action before starting the migration
Run all the detailed exception reports for all the products. We need to use EBS to Fusion Migration offering in Fusion set up manager

Finally need to map domain values to perform the migration and complete data migration using ODI interfaces.
